Terms of Use
1. What Daily Sensory is
Daily Sensory is an observation aid for families and therapists of autistic children, teens and adults. It uses compatible smart glasses and a phone app to record the context of the day (activities, noise level, light and crowding) and turns it into reports and suggestions from AI assistants.
2. Not a medical device
Daily Sensory does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it does not replace professional care. Reports and AI suggestions are hypotheses to be evaluated by the family and qualified professionals. In an emergency, contact local emergency services. Guardian alerts are best-effort and may be delayed or missed (for example, when the glasses or phone are disconnected); do not rely on them for safety.
3. Accounts
- You must be an adult to create an account. For a minor, the account must be created by a parent or legal guardian.
- For an adult who is supported, you must have their consent, or the legal authority to act on their behalf.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for the people you invite to the care team.
- Account owners can invite family members and therapists and can remove them at any time.
4. Recording and people nearby
The glasses show a light when the camera is active. You agree to use Daily Sensory lawfully, to respect the privacy of people nearby, and to follow the rules of schools, clinics and other places. Do not use it in private places such as bathrooms. Daily Sensory does not identify people.
5. Pilot
During the pilot the service is free and may change, have interruptions or be discontinued. We will tell you before any paid plan starts; nothing will be charged without your explicit consent.
6. Your content
You keep the rights to your data. You allow us to process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete it at any time in Account.
7. Third-party services
Daily Sensory works with third-party products and services, such as Meta smart glasses, Anthropic (AI analysis) and Band AI (care-team chat rooms). Their own terms also apply.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and Daily Sensory is not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made based on reports, suggestions or alerts.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are important, we will notify you in the app before they take effect.
